# Shipping Lead (12pm Start Time)Applylocations: DC1 Taftville CTtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R-32283o Including but not limited to: Responsible for real time analysis, assisting the coordination and balance of DC Shipping operations. Assists in the balancing of man power for all areas. Assigns picking/loading tasks for all production employees. Supports the Shipping Supervisor to ensure all tasks flow smoothly for the production crew. Accurately records/reports the truck/trailer numbers for outgoing deliveries. Supports Shipping Supervisor to ensure all End of day (EOD) tasks are completed.Job ResponsibilitiesoResponsible for real time analysis, coordination and balance of Shipping Operations (allocation of pick tasks). oAssigning of picking/loading tasks. oRecording and reporting of outbound deliveries. oProvides support in reporting, researching and resolving issues that occur in the interface between host system and WMS in a timely manner. oEnsure all tasks are completed accurately and on time. oProvides administrative support for the Shipping Supervisor. oDevelops and maintains a working knowledge and understanding of all needed systems. oPerforms additional duties as requested. oSupport Picking and Loading operation as needed.oDecision Making Responsibilities oUnder direct supervision of the DC Shipping Supervisor. Work is performed within standard policies and procedures with opportunity for unreviewed decision-making.oFinancial ResposibilitiesoThis position does not have any direct financial responsibilities.oSupervisory ResponsibilitiesoThis position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities. Provides information and support to production staff.Required QualificationsoHigh School or equivalent experience. o5+ years of warehouse management experience. oStrong verbal/written communication and organizational skills oSkilled at multi-tasking and managing competing priorities. oWorking knowledge of Word, Excel, SAP and Red Prairie. oDetail oriented and accurate. oDemonstrated ability to quickly recognize and diagnose trend and patterns in productivity data. oMust be able to work flexible hours determined by the needs of the department including weekends and evenings.Reporting RelationshipsoReports to: Shipping SupervisorAmericans Disability Act (ADA) Job DescriptionoStand 30 oWalk 40 oSit 10% oClimb 10% oStoop, kneel, crouch or crawl 10% oLift and/or Move (Indicate in pounds) 250 lbs push/pull, 120 lbs lifting**Expected Base Pay Not Including Potential Commissions, Incentive, Bonus, etc. Opportunities:**Starting at $24 an hour, based on experience!
