Registered Nurse Radiology

We’re looking for Radiology Registered Nurses for an immediate travel nurse opening in Modesto, CA. The right RN should have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and the required certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS). This is a full‑time, on‑board assignment that offers travel benefits and a competitive weekly stipend. Radiology Travel Nurses will work with a diverse team of caregivers to appropriately evaluate and implement diagnostic care using correct procedures and physician instructions. The position requires standing and walking for long periods, bending, leaning, and stooping without difficulty, and the ability to lift patients and equipment up to 50 lb when necessary. Exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases is part of the job duties. Responsibilities Start or check peripheral IVs, access and assess infusion ports, administer medications, monitor vital signs, suction patients, insert Foley catheters, and help patients with personal needs. Inform the technologist or radiologist of any unusual patient needs. Perform specialized nursing duties, such as administering IV sedation or analgesia during special procedures. Closely monitor patients with cardiac/pulse oximeters. Requirements 1–2 years recent acute care experience. BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (additional certifications may be required). Ability to lift up to 50 lb and stand/walk for extended periods. Ready to travel and work in a radiology diagnostic environment.
