Supervisor of Credentialing

Position Details Location: Tampa, FL Status: Full Time (EXEMPT) Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (HYBRID – must reside in Florida) The Supervisor Of Credentialing Is Responsible For Supervising the Credentialing Specialists and the credentialing, privileging, and enrollment functions. Ensures compliance of credentialing files and credentialing database updates completed by Credentialing Specialists, in order to meet NCQA, CMS, AHCA, State and Federal guidelines and regulations, as well as Department Policies. Interviews, hires, trains, evaluates, coaches and counsels Credentialing Specialists to ensure they are meeting department quality standards. Develops and updates quality standards, documents the processes and trains team members on new and revised quality standards. Collaborates with other departments, including recruiting, onboarding, contracting, the CVO, MSOs, CBO and Managed Care contracting during the onboarding process and to resolve issues in onboarding and managed care enrollment. Assists the Credentialing Manager with NCQA Accreditation renewals. Covers for the Credentialing Manager as needed. Education Required High School or Equivalent Experience Requires 3 years - Credentialing or 3 years - Managed Care Preferred Certification includes Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Provider Medical Services Management (CPMSM).
