About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Minimum of 24 months of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing, with recent experience in the last 12 months. License: Active state license to practice nursing with no hits on state license to practice. Certifications: - BLS certification from an approved vendor - NIHSS certification from an approved vendor Must-Have: - Candidates must be proficient in caring for medical, oncology, and telemetry patients. - Candidates must be able to read telemetry strips. - Candidates must have the ability to float between units as needed. - Candidates must have flexibility regarding shifts and departments. - RTO cannot exceed 7 days, and no RTO is allowed during the first week of assignment. Description: Registered Nurses will provide care for patients in the medical-surgical specialty. Candidates will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. Candidates are expected to work every other weekend and holidays as per unit rotation. Candidates must have life support certifications that are current and from an approved vendor. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to adherence to all background check standards. The ability to drive and provide evidence of residency is required. Candidates should list all facilities, shifts, and departments they are willing to work in.
