Assistant Store Manager – KENT, WA Outlet Store Hourly Rate: $20.00 per hour Position Summary Assistant Store Managers have direct supervision over all retail supervisors and hourly staff, including those with access to the vault and registers. They are responsible for daily store operations to meet the needs of the store and its customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs all opening and closing procedures and responsibilities Ensures store audits are maintained at or above an acceptable level Maintains LP audits at an acceptable level Leads the semi‑annual inventory Monitors safe procedures and ensures all cash‑handling procedures follow policy Oversees supply management and ordering processes to ensure smooth store operations, while monitoring expenses to stay within budget for monthly and annual reporting Ensures payroll expenses remain within budgeted parameters Delegates work to appropriate employees Ensures all wage requests and payroll timekeeping is up to date for all employees Manages employee reimbursements, petty cash, and travel‑related expenses Ensures building and functions are properly maintained; submits and monitors maintenance requests Ensures security and safety systems are working, including door locks, alarms, bank deposits, refunds, vouchers, and incident reports Full Cycle Hiring Actively interview and onboard new retail employees following Goodwill's recruitment guidelines Loss Prevention Acts as the security “captain” for the assigned store location, cooperating with management and Loss Prevention to protect company assets from internal and external theft Customer Service Delivers exceptional customer service to a variety of customers #J-18808-Ljbffr Goodwill of the Olympics & Rainier Region
