Nexus Recovery – Chelmsford, MA · Full-time, part-time, or per diem · Days, evenings, and overnights available

Nexus Recovery is a substance use disorder treatment program in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, licensed by the Massachusetts Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS). We provide Acute Treatment Services (ATS/detox) and Clinical Stabilization Services (CSS), 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Most of the people who come through our doors are covered by MassHealth, and too often that has meant being told there is no bed, no time, or no one available. We are building a top-tier clinical program for exactly those people — the kind of care you would want for your own family, offered to the people who usually get the least of it. What you will do

• Assess patients on admission and monitor withdrawal throughout their stay.

• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders, and keep medication storage, counts, and records accurate.

• Respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies, including overdose.

• Bring the nursing picture to the treatment team, the treatment plan, and the discharge plan.

• Teach patients about withdrawal, medications for addiction treatment, and overdose prevention.

• Give direction to LPNs, medical assistants, and medication specialists on your shift.

What you need

• Current Massachusetts RN license in good standing.

• Current BLS/CPR certification.

• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays in a 24-hour program.

• Detox, behavioral health, emergency, or med-surg experience preferred — we will teach the addiction medicine piece.

• Strong documentation habits and comfort in an electronic health record.
