As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring, organizing, and maintaining inventory flow to support business operations. * Receiving & Processing Shipments Inspect, unload, and document inbound freight while ensuring inventory accuracy. * Inventory Tracking & Transfers Maintain up-to-date records of material movement, ensuring timely and efficient distribution for jobs, sales orders, demos, and service needs. * Discrepancy Resolution Work with the purchasing team to identify and correct discrepancies in received materials. * Equipment Operation Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks for material handling. * RF Barcode Scanning & Data Entry Utilize inventory management systems to scan, track, and process inventory transfers. * Warehouse Organization & Cleanliness Ensure all inventory is stored properly for accessibility and conduct periodic cycle counts. * Occasional Deliveries Maintain a clean driving record to assist with inventory deliveries when needed. * Cross-Team Collaboration Support quarterly inventory audits and provide backup assistance to team members when necessary. Qualifications : * Experience in inventory control, cycle counts, shipping, and receiving. * Proficiency with inventory management systems and RF barcode scanning. * Strong computer skills, including data entry, typing, and 10-key operations. * Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks (certification a plus). * Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage inventory flow efficiently. * Strong communication skills for collaboration across departments. * Problem-solving mindset to resolve inventory discrepancies quickly and accurately. * A clean driving record for occasional inventory deliveries. *Safety-Sensitive Position: "Safety-sensitive" is defined to mean any job that includes tasks or duties that could reasonably affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task or others.
