Ideal candidates bring at least one year of related experience and a genuine enthusiasm for contributing to student success. Interviews will be conducted with the account manager, who will recommend qualified individuals for hire.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year paraprofessional or related classroom experience
- Flexibility to work across a range of classroom settings, including life skills, autism/STEPs, and behavioral support
- Ability to build rapport with students and collaborate effectively with teachers and administrative staff
- Understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and differentiated instruction is a plus
- Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
- Support classroom teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities
- Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students, ensuring individualized attention
- Assist with classroom management, behavior interventions, and daily student care
- Help create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all learners
- Document student progress and communicate insights to teachers and administrators
