Job Responsibilities
- We are seeking a Router Test Engineer with a strong foundation in networking, Linux systems, and Router firmware validation.
- Over 3+ years of hands-on experience in networking or embedded systems testing (preferably with Wi-Fi routers, gateways, or access points).
- Linux Proficiency: Comfortable working in a Linux/Unix terminal environments-using core commands, standard tools, shell scripts, and basic Linux process monitoring.
- Packet Capture & Traffic Analysis: Strong experience using Wireshark, tcpdump, and Wi-Fi air sniffers to capture and analyze network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, ARP, ICMP).
- Test Methodologies: Solid background in Sanity Testing, Stress/Soak Testing, Regression, and End-to-End Functional Testing.
- Wi-Fi Knowledge: Familiarity with Wi-Fi standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be), wireless security protocols (WPA2/WPA3), and common Wi-Fi performance bottlenecks, and WPS.
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
