Senior Accountant

Our client, a highly respected Aerospace Manufacturing company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This position is responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day accounting operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting expertise, leadership abilities, and experience supporting monthly financial processes, payroll, and audits. Responsibilities Perform advanced accounting functions within a manufacturing environment. Examine, verify, and code accounting entries for proper distribution to accounts. Identify, trace, and resolve accounting discrepancies, errors, omissions, and duplicate entries. Support monthly close activities including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements for multiple divisions. Maintain accurate accounting records and process weekly payroll and 401(k) transactions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting (Accounting major preferred). Minimum of 2+ years of senior-level accounting experience. Minimum of 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience. Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting principles.
