Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Construction Estimators for projects located in the Eugene, OR area . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $27-35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for excavation and concrete projects
Review blueprints, plans, specifications, and bid documents
Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze labor, equipment, and material costs
Prepare and submit bids within required deadlines
Conduct site visits as needed to evaluate project conditions
Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and project documentation
Identify project risks, opportunities, and cost-saving measures
Assist with project handoff following successful bid awards
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of construction estimating experience required
Strong construction background required; excavation and concrete experience highly preferred
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Experience with Bluebeam estimating and takeoff software
Familiarity with bidding both public and private construction projects
Experience with excavation, site development, grading, underground utilities, or concrete construction
