Registered Behavior Technician in Woodland, CA

This opportunity is for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide specialized support within an educational setting in Woodland, CA. The role focuses on delivering one-on-one behavioral interventions for a first-grade student in a general education classroom demonstrating intense behaviors. This contract position offers consistent hours from ASAP through June 5, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) tailored to the student's needs.
- Provide one-on-one behavioral support to a young student exhibiting attention-seeking and avoidance behaviors.
- Collaborate with classroom staff and paraprofessionals to maintain a supportive and structured learning environment.
- Monitor and document behavioral progress and challenges regularly.
- Utilize evidence-based behavioral techniques with fidelity.
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Experience working with children demonstrating intense behaviors in school settings.
- Ability to follow BIP protocols and collaborate effectively with BCBAs and educational teams.
- Strong communication and data collection skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and commitment to student success.
Location: Woodland, CA
Schedule: 35 hours per week
Contract Duration: Immediate start through June 5, 2026
