Job Description

Job Summary:
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing X-ray and radiologic techniques to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Ensure quality imaging while maintaining safety protocols and adhering to department standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate X-ray and radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and ensuring patient comfort.
• Follow safety guidelines to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, imaging, and patient information.
• Review images for quality and clarity, retaking images if necessary.
• Collaborate with medical staff to deliver accurate diagnoses and support patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active radiologic technologist license or certification.
• Have a minimum of 18 months of permanent X-ray/Radiologic Technologist experience.
• Possess proficiency in Epic, Syngo, and AGFA EI PACS systems.
• Be able to recognize ECG rhythms and pass SafeMedicate assessments.
• Maintain active certifications with no pending issues.
• Complete necessary background checks and fingerprinting within 48 hours of contract signing.
