About the Role

We are looking for a Product Manager with a strong builder mindset to join our growing product team. In this role, you will own key features and product areas from customer discovery through launch, adoption, and ongoing improvement. You will combine strong product management fundamentals with hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools to turn ideas into working solutions faster.

At MangoApps, Product Managers do more than write requirements and hand them off to engineering. They use tools such as Claude Code and other AI-assisted development platforms to explore ideas, create functional prototypes, improve existing experiences, and increasingly contribute directly to production-ready features.

Product judgment remains at the center of the role. AI-assisted building is how you learn faster, communicate ideas more clearly, and deliver customer value more quickly.

What You'll Do

Understand Customers and Shape the Product

• Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, workflows, pain points, and business goals.
• Speak with customers, prospects, and internal teams to identify meaningful product opportunities.
• Use customer feedback, product usage, competitive research, and business priorities to determine what should be built or improved.
• Turn ambiguous problems into clear product requirements, practical solutions, and measurable outcomes.

Own and Build the Product

• Own a product area or set of features from discovery through launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.
• Define the product vision, workflows, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success measures.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to create functional prototypes, product improvements, internal tools, and smaller production changes.
• Review and test AI-generated work carefully, including usability, edge cases, performance, security, and reliability.
• Use sound judgment about what you can build directly and when engineering, design, or security support is needed.
• Stay accountable for the customer outcome, not just the requirements or initial release.

Collaborate, Launch, and Drive Adoption

• Partner with engineering, design, and QA to deliver larger or more technically complex initiatives.
• Review designs and technical approaches, evaluate tradeoffs, and make practical decisions about scope, quality, and timing.
• Monitor released features and iterate based on customer feedback, usage data, and results.
• Partner with marketing, sales, and customer success on launches, positioning, adoption, and customer education.
• Serve as a product expert in customer meetings, demonstrations, and sales opportunities.
• Create practical enablement materials and help maintain effective product demo environments.

What You'll Bring

• At least two years of product management or closely related product-building experience, preferably within B2B SaaS.
• Strong product management fundamentals, including customer discovery, problem framing, prioritization, requirements definition, launch planning, and iteration.
• Hands-on experimentation with AI coding or development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms.
• Experience using AI tools to create something functional, such as a prototype, automation, internal tool, workflow, product concept, or side project.
• A demonstrated interest in developing the technical skills needed to build and ship increasingly sophisticated product solutions.
• Comfort learning to operate within a software development environment, including navigating a codebase, reviewing AI-generated code, using basic Git workflows, testing changes, and discussing technical tradeoffs.
• A builder mindset—you naturally move from discussion to tangible output and prefer validating ideas through working solutions rather than unnecessary documentation.
• Strong judgment about customer value, usability, product quality, scope, and when a solution is ready to release.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience presenting product ideas, recommendations, or demonstrations to customers, internal teams, or company leaders.
• The ability to communicate product concepts through wireframes, mockups, process flows, prototypes, or similar methods.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• A collaborative and accountable working style.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with enterprise software, employee experience platforms, collaboration tools, intranets, or digital workplace products.
• Experience with HR technology, including HRIS, performance management, workforce management, human capital management, learning management systems, employee engagement, or related areas.
• Experience taking a new product, feature, or business initiative from zero to one.
• Experience working closely with software engineers and designers throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Experience personally building or shipping customer-facing software, internal tools, or production improvements.
• Familiarity with LLM-powered product development, including prompting, evaluations, model APIs, reliability, and responsible AI considerations.
• A technical, computer science, information systems, or other product-adjacent background.
• Experience supporting product demonstrations, enterprise sales opportunities, customer implementations, or go-to-market initiatives.
• Familiarity with Figma or similar design and prototyping tools.
