Healthcare Valet Attendant

1. The Details Position: Healthcare Valet Attendant Location: Banner Health Gateway – Gilbert, AZ Pay Rate: $15.15/hr + tips! Requirements: Driver's license required, minimum of 2 years experience Schedule: Full‑time Monday to Friday 9:00‑5:00, weekends OFF Please note: Flu vaccination is required for this healthcare location. The vaccination will be provided by the client. If an exemption is requested, we will need to work with HR and the client to approve or deny. 2. The Spirit of the Position A LAZ Valet Attendant plays a significant role in the success of the company. They are the first person our clients and customers see upon arrival, and the last person our clients and customers see when they depart. A warm welcome, smiling face, and professional demeanor are of the utmost importance. 3. What Will You Do? Park and retrieve cars efficiently, ensuring careful and timely service. Greet customers by name, attend to their needs, and build rapport with each driver. Help direct traffic to maintain a clean and organized flow of cars, always with a smile. Demonstrate a self‑reliant attitude, working with or without supervision as required. Promote excellent customer relations, going above and beyond to make customers love LAZ Parking the moment they meet you. 4. You Are: Dynamic, charismatic, energetic, and eager to help. Dependable—responsible and reliable. A good driver with a clean driving record, cautious at all times. Must be able to drive a standard transmission. Calm under pressure; thrives in high‑energy environments. Strong communicator with clear spoken, written, and comprehended English. Team player, open to differing opinions and supportive of colleagues. 5. Education High school diploma or GED preferred but not required. 6. Experience Strong customer‑service experience. Cash handling experience preferred but not required. Parking industry experience preferred but not required. 7. Skills Ability to drive a manual–shift vehicle. Professional and effective communication skills. Willingness to be flexible and work at multiple facility locations. Capability to handle challenging and occasionally emotionally charged situations. Ability to work unsupervised. Capacity to make independent decisions and remain firm on them. Sense of urgency and timeliness. Excellent team‑building and interpersonal skills. 8. Physical Demands Willingness to work in all elements—including heat, wind, snow, and rain. Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 25 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods. Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently during a shift.
