Key Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care through the administration of radiation therapy treatments
• Perform treatment simulations and fabricate all necessary shielding blocks
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) throughout the course of treatment
• Prepare equipment for patient treatments, including performing quality control and assurance tests
• Ensure proper infection control techniques and adhere to optimal radiation safety and protection practices
• Maintain professional working relationships with medical staff and support interdisciplinary cooperation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Radiation Therapist experience required
• ARRT (T) certification required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• 1 year of travel experience required, OR post-graduation work experience with Varian and ARIA
• Candidates must adhere to the facility's attendance policy: three instances of an unexcused absence or arriving more than 20 minutes late to a scheduled shift may result in immediate termination

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with TrueBeam radiation therapy platform
• Experience with ARIA oncology information system
• Experience with Trilogy linear accelerator
