What you’ll be doing:

• Perform fabrication, assembly, integration, testing, and inspection of precision photonic and optical components
• Execute technical procedures using detailed engineering drawings and work instructions
• Work with machining tools, optical equipment, soldering systems, and precision lab instrumentation
• Support calibration, preventative maintenance, and equipment reliability activities
• Assist with optical fiber splicing, mechanical builds, photonic circuit assembly, and inspection processes
• Maintain clean, organized, and compliant lab environments
• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to meet schedule, quality, and performance expectations

What they’re looking for:

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of relevant technical experience, OR Associate degree with 2+ years of related experience
• Hands-on experience in assembly, machining, manufacturing, electronics, optics, or mechanical systems
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Experience working with precision equipment and detailed procedures
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph required
• Strong attention to detail and technical aptitude
