Elwood Staffing is hiring a versatile Graphics & Production Associate for a local printing company. This full-time role moves between prepress, bindery, and digital printing based on the day’s workload. Graphics and prepress skills are the main focus of this hire; training will be provided in all three areas.

Printing Press Bindery Support Operator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $17.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 04:30pm )

• Graphics and prepress:
  • Typeset forms, proofread copy, check spelling, and prepare printing plates using Adobe software
  • Most graphics work involves forms and typesetting, rather than logo design or creative projects.
• Bindery:
  • Help with celloing, booking, and boxing finished products
• Digital printing:
  • Operate copy machines to complete print jobs Step in where the team needs help and check your work for accuracy

Printing Press Bindery Support Operator Qualifications:

• Computer experience, including familiarity with Adobe software
• Strong proofreading, spelling, and attention to detail
• Comfort doing precise, repetitive typesetting work
• Flexibility to switch tasks as production needs change
• A willingness to learn bindery and digital press operations
• Experience in pre-press is preferred

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
