Ultrasound Technologist

Responsibilities Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography examinations Review patient medical history and supporting clinical information Use proper patient positioning tools and ergonomic scanning techniques Apply independent judgment during the sonography examination Review examination images to meet QA standards and provide preliminary reports Assist radiologist and/or other providers with procedures Assist with the education and training of sonography students and physician residents Requirements Graduate of an accredited School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Minimum One (1) to Three (3) years of experience preferred ARDMS or ARRT sonography registered or registry eligible Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days of hire Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in conducting sonography examinations, including patient preparation, image review, and quality assurance.
