HR Business Partner

Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning and Policy Development: Implements and oversees HR policies and procedures ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with legal requirements. Team Member Relations and Conflict Resolution: Trusted advisor to the Distribution Center Director on team member relations issues, including conflict resolution, corrective actions, complaints, oversight of investigation process, fosters positive and collaborative relationship between leadership and team members. Recruitment and Talent Management: Participates in the recruitment process, interviewing, pre-screening/selecting, onboarding new team members, developing and managing talent retention strategies to ensure staffing levels meet operational demands, collaborates with leadership on hiring decisions, partners with third-party organizations to engage temporary workers. Compensation and Benefits Administration: Oversees new hire orientation and benefits open enrollment, ensures timely and accurate execution and transmission of payroll on a weekly basis, resolves any payroll issues promptly. Performance Management and Training: Oversees performance appraisal systems, ensures all performance reviews and merit increases are completed in a timely and satisfactory manner, provides guidance on team development, coordinates training programs to enhance workforce capabilities, ensures training programs are completed on time and align with organizational goals. HR Metrics and KPIs: Drives key performance indicators such as team member engagement, retention, productivity, and efficiency, analyzes HR metrics to develop and implement strategies to improve performance and reduce turnover. Coaching and Leadership Development: Provides performance management support, coaching, career development, succession planning for supply chain leadership, leads and mentors HR coordinators, partners with supply chain leadership to identify high-potential talent and implement development programs. Engagement and Communication: Engages with leadership and team members regularly to foster open communication and positive work culture, directs coordination of HR information between the DC and Club Support Center, partners with team members to communicate policies and compliance. Additional Responsibilities: Ensures compliance with company policies and legal requirements, contributes to continuous improvement of distribution center operations via key performance indicators, performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed, requires regular, predictable full attendance. Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HR within supply chain or related field. Strong communication skills, proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and familiarity with HR and payroll systems. Ability to work in a warehouse environment at varying temperatures, noise, dust. Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods. Position may require up to 50% travel and flexibility to work weekends, nights, holidays. Must be able to work while wearing appropriate PPE (steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves, insulated clothing).
