Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients in the NICU.
• Administer and monitor mechanical ventilation, including use of high frequency jet ventilators and oscillating ventilators.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and execute patient care interventions.
• Perform and interpret arterial blood gas analysis to optimize respiratory therapy.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care plans and equipment usage.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the Epic charting system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in NICU and pediatric critical care.
• Active NC RRT license or compact license; must be verified by Nursys.
• Certified in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS.
• Experience with Level IV NICU and high frequency jet ventilator.
• Proficient in Epic charting system.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
