Job Details:

Location: Waco, TX
Facility: SSLC
Shifts Available:
- AM: 8hr, 40hrs/week, must be flexible w/weekends

Pay Rates:

Local: $42/hr.

Travel: ($15/hr taxed + $1160/wk tax-free travel stipend) 1760/40 hrs.

** Must be 50 miles away from permanent residence to qualify for housing allowance**

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide care for patients - manage medication administration and treatments; provide medication education and complete documentation.
Perform computer data entry - Receive full training
Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies; specifically, Joint Commission guidelines, CMS Standards, WCY Policy and Directives and HHSC Standards, Rules and Directives.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Active Texas LVN license
Updated resume.
At least 1 year of experience in psych, behavioral health, IDD, direct care, long-term care, subacute, or related setting required; 2+ years preferred.
Experience with psych, behavioral health, or IDD population preferred.
Valid photo ID.
Social Security card.
Current BLS or American Heart Association CPR certification.
Two current supervisor references.
Physical exam within the last 12 months.
Negative PPD/TB result within the last 12 months.
COVID-19 testing with negative result required; facility will provide testing if applicable.
COVID-19 vaccination card, if applicable.
Vaccination records or titers for MMR, Hep B, and Varicella.
Must be able to successfully pass a urine drug screen.
Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
Must be able to successfully pass an FBI fingerprint background check.
