At Dynamic Manufacturing, Inc., that’s the challenge you’ll take on as you guide teams, set standards, and turn ideas into robust, safe, and maintainable test systems.Your missionScope and estimate level of effort and cost for new product launches, continuous improvement efforts, and new launches within existing platformsOwn new product line launches while coordinating projects that span multiple departmentsAct as technical lead and mentor for Engineers and Associate EngineersBe the connective tissue across disciplines: Controls & Instrumentation, Software Controls, Product, Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, and CalibrationPartner with customer engineers and travel to customer sites as neededDesign, implement, and maintain the tools that make testing possible:Automotive testing fixtures and advanced component testersPneumatic and hydraulic presses/testers with tailored fixturing and controlCollaborative/industrial robotics and automation projects with motion controlSafety architecture for pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systemsStandards and reference architectures for electrical/mechanical designs and pneumatic/hydraulic schematicsProject management artifacts plus preventive and predictive maintenance documentationDiagnose equipment condition and recommend repair, redesign, or rebuild strategiesWhat it takes to thriveEngineering degree (B.S. or higher) or 8–11 years of directly relevant experienceCAD fluency: Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA; advanced GD&T; detailed 2D/3D models3D assembly simulation and FEA to validate and optimize designsPLM to manage designs from concept through service and replacementDFM mindset; informed material selection for metals and plasticsHands-on prototyping; deep understanding of mechanical systemsStructural analysis capabilities to ensure integrity and safetyKnowledge across hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical domainsExperience designing automation and robotic cellsA knack for understanding equipment behavior with sparse documentationClear communication, Lean thinking, and continuous improvement orientationProject management discipline; precise technical writing and documentationTenacious troubleshooting and problem-solvingWhat you’ll enjoyAn engaging work environmentOpportunities for advancementTuition reimbursementCompetitive pay (we pay weekly!)Comprehensive benefits package & 401(k) matchGenerous paid time off, and moreOur legacyWe’ve been family-owned since 1955, when John Partipilo founded Dynamic Manufacturing.
