JOB SUMMARY

Logistics – Customer Service is responsible for working as a liaison between the warehouse, customers and truckers to ensure all customer requests are completed timely and accurately. Handle daily inventory management through use of WMS and excel reporting. Duties & Functions Provide accurate, consistent numbers on all paperwork. Perform customer service duties with correspondence to customers and overseas partners, e- mails fax, etc. Provide customers with shipping information, inbound/outbound transaction and inventory status information. Ability to work well and contribute in a team setting. Set up and maintain customer files and profiles. Update inventory data, rate files, and create reports. Update statement data and issue Invoices for customers in a timely manner. Perform other duties as requested by management.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education & Experience High School diploma or GED. Two years Customer Service experience preferred. Knowledge of inventory control and customer service techniques. Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) including VLOOKUP Knowledge of the freight forwarding industry for both International and Domestic. Ability to use basic math skills to calculate freight, storage, duty and other charges. Physical requirements Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
