About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director to serve as the operational and strategic leader of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, crisis response leadership, shelter operations, staff leadership, compliance, community partnerships, funding initiatives, and long-term organizational direction. This role demands a high-impact, hands-on leader who is comfortable managing competing priorities, improving systems and processes, and supporting staff in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. The Executive Director will also be tasked with ensuring that critical services continue to meet the growing needs of the community and that the organization operates within a trauma-informed care culture. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years' of nonprofit leadership or executive management experience. Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles and the ability to lead within emotionally demanding service environments are essential. The role requires a leader with strong communication, organizational, crisis management, and decision-making abilities, who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in supervising teams, managing budgets, and overseeing organizational operations is required, with a preference for those who have experience in grants, compliance, and funding management. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mission-driven work and supporting vulnerable populations.
