Emergency Clinician Position

VCA California Veterinary Specialists in Ontario invites you to apply to join our Emergency Department as an Emergency Clinician. Our growing team is looking for a new doctor with a passion for and interest in providing emergency care to a variety of canine and feline patients in a specialty setting.

VCA California Veterinary Specialists in Ontario is the largest 24 hours Emergency and Specialty hospital in the Inland Empire. We are well established with almost 15 years of exceptional veterinary service and patient care and are continuing to grow and thrive.

Joining the VCA CVS-Ontario team you will be supported by Surgical, Internal Medicine, Neurology and Radiology Services as well as a team of ten Emergency Clinicians. We have a modern and bright 14,000 sq ft. hospital with 10 exam rooms, 3 surgical suites, with state-of-the-art equipment including 1.5 Tesla MRI, fluoroscopy, laparoscopic and thorascopic instrumentation, endoscopy, multiple ultrasounds, and 128-slice computed tomography with automatic injector and in-house lab. Qualifications:

• Licensed veterinarian in the state of California in good standing
• Strong communication skills with clients and staff
• Good attention to detail
• Positive attitude and team mentality
• Able or willing to perform routine emergency surgeries

Extra consideration will be made for candidates with prior internship or emergency medicine experience.

Shifts are 12p-12a or 2p-2a

Rate $1800-$2100 based on experience
