Griswold Home Care of Lakewood is looking for kind, dependable caregivers to join our growing team for late afternoon and evening shifts, primarily between 4:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Whether you’re seeking full-time or part-time work, this is an opportunity to do meaningful work while helping seniors feel safe, comfortable, and supported in their own homes.

Pay: $19–$22 per hour (based on experience and certifications)

About the Role

As a caregiver, you’ll make a real difference in someone’s daily life by helping them remain independent, safe, and comfortable at home.

We are specifically looking for caregivers who are available for late afternoon and evening shifts, generally between 4:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Schedules may vary depending on client needs, and there may be opportunities for additional hours based on your availability.

Care may include:

• Companionship and conversation
• Meal preparation and assistance with dinner
• Personal care assistance such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
• Mobility and transfer assistance
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Helping clients get ready for bed
• Safety supervision and fall prevention
• Dementia support
• Transportation or errands when needed
• Clear and timely communication with our office team

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for caregivers with reliable transportation, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least six months of caregiving experience—whether professional or caring for a loved one.

The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, patient, and comfortable working independently. A willingness to learn is essential, and we’re happy to provide training and support along the way.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who understands how valuable those late afternoon and evening hours can be for seniors and their families.
