Position Overview Providing exceptional client services, operating as Manager on Duty in the absence of a manager, performing operational and transactional functions, handling client service issues, issuing approvals for desk transactions, opening and closing the store. Primary Responsibilities Embrace our values and set an example through behavior. Ensure compliance with all ANN INC. practices and procedures. Take on responsibilities assigned by the Store Manager or Co‑Manager. Support the business strategy and adjust to effectively reach goals. Drive revenue by proactively managing the client experience and performing Manager on Duty responsibilities. Utilize tools to create a client‑focused team environment. Drive volume, anticipate client needs, and communicate store metrics & individual performance to motivate associates. Coach associates “in the moment” on client interactions & performance to maximize productivity and capture client opportunities. Possess keys to the store; perform opening & closing procedures, bank deposits, and other duties in the absence of management. Assume PIN and signature privileges for register functions requiring approval. Use reports to make merchandising decisions and style the store according to Division standards. Leverage tools, assess, and act to drive operational excellence through Standard Operating Procedures. Ensure optimal coverage & productivity in all areas of the store through appropriate scheduling. Complete daily tasks to keep the store running smoothly and meeting ANN INC. standards & guidelines. Record work accurately using ANN INC.’s Time & Attendance system; remain flexible to business needs. Understand current market trends, articulate them using ANN INC. interpretations during client interactions. Represent the brand by adhering to ANN INC.’s dress code guidelines. Treat others fairly and with respect, valuing differences. Position Requirements Client Service: Keep the client as the top priority while balancing tasks & store operations. Store Operations & Organization: Organize, delegate, prioritize assignments, meet deadlines. Merchandising: Knowledge of visual standards & techniques; implement & maintain ANN INC. guidelines. Accuracy: Handle cash & provide change without error; prepare nightly deposits; capture accurate transaction information. Communication: Effective communication with clients, management, partners, and associates. Schedule: Flexible schedule to meet business needs, including evenings & weekends. Physical: Ability to lift & carry up to 20 pounds occasionally; maneuver around sales floor, stock room & office. Education: High School Diploma or GED. Experience: Minimum six months as a Sales Associate with ANN INC. or equivalent retail experience; part‑time or full‑time managerial experience preferred.
