Gastroenterology Physician
Start Date: Immediate Availability; Shifts: 8; On-Call Compensation: $349.20 - $378.00

Our organization is in search of a Gastroenterology Physician to provide locum tenens assistance to address an urgent need.

Opportunity Details:

• Schedule: Outpatient GI procedures are needed for November and December. Procedure hours are typically from 8:00 AM to around 3:30/4:00 PM, with 24/7 on-call coverage required on designated days.

• Practice Environment: Combination of inpatient and outpatient settings, including on-call responsibilities.

• Types of Cases and Procedures: Responsibilities include outpatient GI scopes/procedures, GI consultations, inpatient GI coverage, and GI call duties. Anticipated volume is 15-18 scopes daily, with an inpatient census of 2-3 GI patients.

• Credentialing Period: 60-90 days.

• Electronic Medical Record System: Epic.

• Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

• Licensure: An active medical license in Wisconsin is mandatory; the facility cannot accommodate delays in licensing. Board Certification is also required.
