Day-in-the-Life: Industrial Reliability Technician

Location: Valdosta, GA 31602

Step into a role where your troubleshooting instincts keep an entire facility humming. As our Industrial Reliability Technician, you’ll spend your day inspecting, repairing, and improving equipment performance so operations run safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on facility machinery and building systems.
• Perform routine inspections to spot issues early and verify compliance with safety requirements.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and basic plumbing faults to minimize downtime.
• Document work orders and service activities with thorough, accurate records.
• Partner with teammates to deliver projects and drive continuous improvement in uptime and reliability.
• Respond quickly to maintenance calls and emergency situations.
• Assist with installing and commissioning new equipment and related systems.
• Maintain an orderly, safe work environment while following all safety procedures.

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade/technical certification in maintenance or related field preferred.
• Hands-on experience in a maintenance technician or comparable role.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and apply technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Sharp problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Clear communication and a collaborative approach.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
