Our team supports projects across Florida and the Southeast, delivering high‐quality workmanship, accurate takeoffs, and reliable project coordination.Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail‐oriented Mechanical Insulation Estimator to join our estimating department. The ideal candidate has experience reading mechanical plans, performing digital takeoffs, and preparing competitive bids for insulation scopes. After a 3‐month onboarding period, this role transitions to fully remote based on performance and proficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform detailed takeoffs for mechanical insulation, HVAC duct insulation, plumbing insulation, and specialty systemsReview plans, specifications, addenda, and RFI responsesPrepare labor and material estimates using company standardsCoordinate with project managers, vendors, and subcontractorsDevelop bid proposals and assist with value‐engineering optionsMaintain organized documentation for all bids and revisionsParticipate in pre‐bid meetings and project turnover meetingsQualifications2+ years of experience in mechanical insulation estimating or mechanical/HVAC estimatingStrong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specificationsProficiency with digital takeoff software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, OnScreen Takeoff, etc.)Knowledge of insulation materials, installation methods, and industry standardsExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experiencePerformance bonusesHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysRemote work eligibility after 90 daysCareer growth opportunities within the estimating and project management departments\nCompany DescriptionWe are a fast‑growing mechanical contracting company specializing in commercial and industrial insulation, HVAC systems, plumbing insulation, and energy‑efficiency solutions.
