TRAKAmerica is a national accounts receivable management and outsourcing provider for many of the largest banks and debt buying entities in the country. As we continue to expand our infrastructure, we currently have an immediate opening in our Bonita Springs, Florida office for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to fill a role critical to our continued growth.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This role will perform a variety of accounting and reconciliation duties according to established policies and procedures, be responsible to ensure attorney receivable accounts are properly maintained, and will also act as liaison with attorneys to provide quality customer service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complex analytical and problem-solving responsibilities for supplier accounts, monitoring payment status and reconciling payments on a consistent basis
• Post ACH/Wires into accounting system SAGE 100
• Use of excel to reconcile outstanding items and differences
• Perform as a strong supportive A/R member
• Post data entry transactions into accounting system Sage100
• Backup for posting pay file remits into accounting system Sage100
• Backup for performing cost and fee uploads to accounting system Sage100
• Post live checks and perform bank deposits
• Other tasks as may be assigned

• Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction
• Ability to use 10-key calculator for a variety of accounting functions
• Sage100ERP experience is beneficial

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Finance/Accounting degree or
• 1-3 years hands-on financial analysis or related corporate accounting experience

Other Preferred Skills/Abilities/Experience:

• Debt collection or recoveries experience
