Electrical Assembler

JOB PURPOSE

Every R3Di® that ships from e2Companies is built on our Fort Myers production floor. R3Di® is the energy storage system within the e2Companies' Virtual Utility®, and once it is energized at a customer site, it delivers the fast-responding, conditioned power that keeps mission-critical operations running resiliently whether they face grid faults or capacity shortfalls. As manufacturing, commercial, industrial, and data center customers turn to on-site power, the quality of every termination, torque spec, and continuity test is something those customers rely on directly.

As an Electrical Assembler, you will build R3Di® systems from base to final test: installing conduit, terminating low-voltage wiring, setting LiFePO4 battery modules, and verifying every connection before a system ships. You will work from technical guides and schematics alongside our engineering and production teams, document each build, and receive paid training on our proprietary systems, including OSHA 10 and NFPA 70E.

This is an on-site production role at our facility in Fort Myers, Florida, on a Monday through Thursday schedule of four 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM - opportunity for authorized OT in conjunction with business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assemble, align, and seal enclosure wall panels to protect battery modules and maintain the required ingress protection rating
• Measure, cut, bend, and install rigid, EMT, and PVC conduit, securing each run with fittings to NEC requirements
• Pull, label, strip, crimp, and terminate low-voltage conductors in cabinets, inverters, and battery management systems according to schematics
• Install LiFePO4 battery modules, verify cell and module specifications, and connect them to the battery management system with correct polarity and torque
• Mount and wire control cabinets, inverters, and battery management systems inside each enclosure
• Test completed assemblies for continuity, insulation resistance, and voltage, and troubleshoot faults before systems move to final inspection
• Follow OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E, and lockout tagout procedures on every build, and handle batteries according to hazardous materials guidelines
• Build to UL 9540 and UL 1973 requirements as specified in work instructions
• Record assembly, test, and battery data for each system and report nonconformances to engineering
• Partner with engineers on build questions and flag drawing discrepancies before work proceeds
• Track parts stock at the workstation and support maintenance of tools and test equipment
• Recommend process improvements that reduce rework and build time
• Perform other duties as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in electrical assembly, wiring, or manufacturing
• Ability to read and work from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Basic knowledge of low-voltage electrical power circuits
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical test equipment such as a multimeter
• Working knowledge of NEC and OSHA safety requirements
• Ability to lift, carry, and position materials weighing 50 pounds or more, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods in a manufacturing environment while wearing required PPE
• Ability to work on-site in Fort Myers, Monday through Thursday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with reliable transportation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Technical certificate or diploma in electrical assembly, electrical technology, or a related trade program
• Experience building or servicing energy storage systems, LiFePO4 battery systems, or UPS systems
• Hands-on experience wiring or testing natural gas generators
• Familiarity with UL listing processes, electronic assembly, or soldering
• Experience in high-volume production of energy storage or electrical power equipment

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Manufacturing and production environment with exposure to electrical components, battery modules, tools, and powered equipment
• Prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and repetitive use of hands and arms
• Ability to lift, carry, and position materials weighing 50 pounds or more, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Regular use of hand and power tools and electrical testing equipment requiring manual dexterity and coordination
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, labels, and instructions
• Safe work around low voltage electrical systems and LiFePO4 batteries while wearing required PPE
• Moderate noise levels and compliance with all safety policies, OSHA, NEC, and lockout tagout procedures
