HVAC Technician

HVAC TechnicianQualifications:• Valid Driver's license• Valid State of Oklahoma journeyman's license• High School Diploma or GED• Must be physically able to carry ladders & other tools related to the trade, some may exceed 100 pounds• Licensed in boilers, refrigeration, unlimited air conditioning, unlimited heating, natural gas piping and sheet metal• A good working knowledge of HVAC central plants and individual units (chillers, cooling towers, boilers, rooftop package & split systems)• EPA 608 Certification Refrigeration License• Demonstrate ability to successfully fulfill assigned responsibilitiesReports To:HVAC LeadPerformance Responsibilities:• Perform seasonal tear downs & inspections of the boilers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps air handlers, etc• Maintain HVAC central plants and individual units (chillers, cooling towers, boilers, rooftop package & split systems)• Work with natural gas piping• Stay informed of our monthly chemical analysis of heating, cooling and condenser water loops and ensure our program is one of top quality• Be aware of new technology in the HVAC field by up-to-date schooling & refresher classes• Perform other tasks as assignedTerms of Employment:Twelve-month, salary to be established by the BoardEvaluation:Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy
