Key Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Mississippi SLP license
  • Either ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Dedication to working with pediatric populations in a school-based setting
  • Strong collaboration, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, committed, and punctual
  • Open to candidates interested in a travel assignment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy to students, providing both group and individual interventions
  • Assess, diagnose, and identify speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain detailed and timely records of student progress, goals, and outcomes
  • Engage with educators, families, and support staff to ensure holistic student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to intervention planning
  • Stay current on best practices and compliance standards in the field
