Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with the physical therapist.
• Implement prescribed physical therapy interventions such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and the use of therapeutic equipment to enhance patient mobility.
• Educate patients and their families about recovery expectations, therapeutic exercises to be performed at home, and strategies for managing any challenges encountered during the recovery process.
• Carefully document patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans, ensuring that all treatments align with the established therapy goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, nursing staff, and medical professionals, to provide comprehensive patient care that addresses all aspects of recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Must possess a PTA degree from an accredited institution.
