Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care in the Emergency Room, responding efficiently to acute patient needs and ensuring optimal outcomes. Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient conditions upon arrival and prioritize care based on acuity.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient progress and update documentation accurately.
  
  
• 
  Respond swiftly to emergency situations, providing critical support as needed.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid RN license with at least two years of ER experience preferred.
  
  
• 
  Holds current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrates proficiency in emergency care procedures and protocols.
  
  
• 
  Able to work 12-hour night shifts in a high-pressure environment.
  
  
• 
  Maintains compliance with travel and health screening standards, including fingerprints.
  
  
• 
  Eligible for pending NM/Compact licenses prior to start date.
