Position Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from intake through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, legal memoranda, and other case-related documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.
• Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
• Prepare witnesses and experts for depositions and trial.
• Collaborate with partners on trial preparation and courtroom strategy.
• Communicate regularly with clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and experts.
• Maintain organized case files while meeting litigation deadlines.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction (or pending admission if eligible).
• 2-6+ years of litigation experience preferred.
• Insurance defense or civil litigation experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Strong oral advocacy and client communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with a collaborative, team-first mindset.
