We believe in the transformative power of people, the value of diversity and the importance of inclusion.Position SummaryAs a Quality & Food Safety Technician Associate you will perform checks throughout our Central Production Unit including the productive, packaging, sanitation, and warehousing facilities of the company, including pre-operational checks, sanitation verification, label checks and new weight checks.What you will do…Cover for HACCP Coordinator and/or Director Quality Assurance/Supervisor in case of absenceOversee and Implement Food Safety and Quality ProgramAudit during production for food safety and qualityTraining and coach personnel of Food Safety and QualityEnsure all applicable Federal, State and Local Regulations are followedAssist during startups and product developmentReview Documents for HACCP and Productions for completenessConduct daily walks to ensure complianceWho you are…Degree preferred or work experience in quality or food safety auditingSeafood HACCP Certified and/or ability to gain certification within 60 days after hiringExperience with USDA FSIS food productionFood Manufacturing Quality and Food SafetyWriting and Implementing food safety and quality programsExcellent communication, presentation and team building skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to multitask to simultaneously complete several projectsProficiency in Microsoft Office-Excel, Word and PowerPointAdditional InformationFlexible to work on other duties outside of your main responsibilities when needed and as assignedMust be able to work in a chilled environment that is maintained below 40° when requiredAdhere to all safety and sanitation standardsAbility to stand, stoop, kneel, wipe, reach, bend and lift.Subject to lifting up to 50lbsExposure to some potential food allergens such as shrimp, soy, nuts/nut products, and sesame.The Finer PrintWho you report to: Supervisor of QualityStatus: Full Time, Non-exemptLocation: Fort Worth, TX 76155NOTE: Snap Kitchen is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
