Summary:

The Laborer is responsible for supporting daily precast concrete production operations through basic labor tasks, material handling, equipment cleaning, and assisting skilled crew members. The position includes learning proper techniques and following safety protocols.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with concrete pouring, stripping, finishing, and general production activities
• Clean and prepare forms, tools, equipment, and work areas
• Load and unload materials and supplies
• Assist skilled laborers and supervisors with daily production tasks
• Use hand tools and small power tools safely and effectively
• Follow all safety rules and proper use of PPE
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Work overtime and flexible schedules as required by production demands
• Follow instructions and complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation to facility
• Ability to perform physically demanding labor in indoor and outdoor environments
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work on feet for extended periods
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Willingness to learn production processes and safety standards
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
