About the Position

Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: November 23, 2026

Location: Albany, New York

Schedule: 48 hours per week; shift details to be discussed with qualified candidates

Highlights:

• Epic EMR system utilized throughout the facility
• Float position across multiple ICU settings including Neuro/Trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU), and ICU patients in ED and PACU
• Level I Trauma Center environment providing high-acuity critical care experience
• Navy blue scrubs required as part of professional dress code
• Competency assessment required within 24 hours of submission
• Previous travel nursing experience required for this assignment

Requirements:

• Active New York State RN license or ability to obtain (certain local candidates may be ineligible)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience mandatory
• Level I Trauma Center experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated competency and comfort level caring for critical care patients across multiple ICU specialties
• Experience floating to a variety of ICU environments highly desired
• Must be able to complete competency testing within 24 hours of application
