Sterile Processing Tech
Contract | (possibly conversion to staff if available) We're seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician for a contract assignment with a STERIS-supported sterile processing department in North Charleston, SC. Responsibilities Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and package surgical instruments per IFUs and AAMI standards
Operate and monitor sterilizers and washers, including required testing and documentation
Use instrument tracking systems and stage case carts in coordination with the OR
Follow infection prevention and safety protocols Requirements CRCST or CSPDT certification [required/preferred]
[1+ year] of hospital sterile processing experience
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to [35] lbs
Flexibility for weekends, holidays, or on-call as needed
Background check, drug screen, and current immunizations Equal opportunity employer.
