SPECIAL INVESTIGATOR

Job Title

The Bureau protects and serves California consumers by licensing and regulating over 42,000 businesses globally, from small single-person businesses to major corporations. The Bureau provides consumer protection by conducting investigations, proactive stings and sweeps for unlicensed activity, testing products to ascertain if they meet required standards, educating applicants and licensees, and initiating disciplinary action against businesses who violate Bureau laws regulations. This position will cover the following counties: San Fernando, Santa Clarita, and Antelope Valley OR Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma.
