Internal Medicine Physician

Excellent opportunity for a Primary Care Physician to join a patient-focused, outpatient practice in Lakeland, Florida . This role is ideal for physicians interested in value-based care, long-term patient relationships, and a supportive clinical environment with no inpatient responsibilities or call .

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for adult and geriatric patients

• Deliver preventive care, chronic disease management, and wellness services

• Document patient encounters in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards

• Collaborate with Medical Assistants and interdisciplinary clinical teams

• Coordinate care to ensure high-quality, patient-centered outcomes

• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and clinical problem-solving

• Support special medical projects and onsite services as needed

• Maintain ethical, legal, and professional standards

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $200,000 $250,000 annually

Candidate Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in:
Family Medicine
Internal Medicine
Geriatric Medicine

• Active or eligible unrestricted Florida medical license

• Active, unrestricted DEA license

• Current BLS & ACLS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of outpatient clinical experience

• Active Medicare & Medicaid enrollment

• Experience with Medicare Advantage & Value-Based Care models

• Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage

• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient setting

• Experience with Athena EMR preferred
