Job Description Supplemental Health Care is hiring Post Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurses for travel-only contracts at a partnering hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. Specialty PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline RN Start Date ASAP Duration 13 weeks Hours 36 hours per week; 12-hour shifts (days) Shift 12 hours, days (Every other weekend) Employment Type Travel Travel PACU Registered Nurse Contract Details Compensation: $1,962 - $2,149 per week (estimate) Location: Phoenix, Arizona Contract Length: 13 weeks, with potential for extension Schedule: 36 hours per week | Every other weekend Start Date: Flexible, based on facility need Qualifications Active Compact State RN License BLS certification required (AHA) Experience working in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the PACU area Ability to pass a background check and meet credentialing requirements Additional experience/certifications may be required Travel RN contracts only; applicants must reside outside the state of Arizona. Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with the standards of professional Post Anesthesia Care Unit nursing practice Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and monitoring Collaborate with physicians, patients, and families to ensure continuity of care Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses Estimated weekly payment may include both taxable wages and tax‑free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals.
