Job Details Position: Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Location: Erie, PA 16509 Assignment Type: Travel Contract Duration: 3 Weeks Schedule: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM Rotating weekends and holidays required Job Description Pride Health is seeking an experienced Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for an urgent 3-week assignment in Erie, PA. The MLT will perform routine laboratory testing under the supervision of Medical Technologists and Laboratory Leadership while ensuring accurate and timely patient results. Responsibilities Perform routine laboratory testing using automated and manual methodologies. Process and analyze patient specimens according to established laboratory procedures. Review, verify, and release test results accurately and efficiently. Maintain specimen integrity throughout the testing process. Perform quality control procedures and document all QC activities. Conduct instrument maintenance, calibrations, and troubleshooting as required. Follow laboratory policies and procedures for specimen handling, testing, and reporting. Identify and report testing issues or performance concerns to laboratory leadership. Document corrective actions and maintain accurate laboratory records. Report critical values according to established protocols. Maintain laboratory compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety standards. Participate in department training, educational programs, and safety initiatives. Assist with maintaining reagent inventory and monitoring expiration dates. Support laboratory operations and perform additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Laboratory Science, or related field required. Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related science preferred. 1–3 years of clinical laboratory experience preferred. Strong understanding of laboratory quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. Ability to prioritize workload and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
