Aftercare Toddler Assistant

This employee will be expected to help the lead teacher to plan for, teach, supervise, and assess toddlers aged 12 months- 30 months. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Archdiocese of Miami. Schedule: Monday- Friday, 2:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Qualifications: Preferred: bachelor's degree in early childhood or similar field. CDA (Child Development Associate) certification preferred. DCF Child Care 40 hours Training preferred. Minimum of 2 years’ experience required. CPR course, and First Aide. Strength in creating a warm, welcoming environment for students and families. Effective oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice. Must be of good moral character and supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
