Core Duties Direct and manage the fabrication staff to drive high-quality output and meet production deadlines. Create and execute new fabrication workflows to boost overall operational efficiency. Work alongside design and engineering departments to accurately translate technical plans and blueprints. Oversee equipment upkeep to help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team. Provide guidance and instruction to staff regarding advanced fabrication methods and industry standards. Perform thorough quality assessments to verify that all work aligns with established requirements. Oversee the organization of materials and stock to ensure fabrication demands are consistently met. Support the team by identifying and fixing technical challenges during the production cycle. Required Skills and Experience Completion of high school or a GED; a technical certification or degree is a plus. Demonstrated background in fabrication, including a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory capacity. Comprehensive knowledge regarding fabrication tools, machinery, and standard methodologies. Strong verbal and written communication abilities for effective team interaction. Proficiency in analyzing and applying complex technical specifications and diagrams. Sharp analytical thinking and a keen eye for detail to ensure project success. Capability to thrive in a high-speed setting while balancing various competing tasks.
