An Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist is a specialized healthcare professional trained to assist physicians during minimally invasive, image-guided procedures performed in the radiology department. The IR Technologist is a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional who plays a pivotal role in interventional radiology procedures, combining technical expertise with compassionate patient care to facilitate successful outcomes and enhance the overall patient experience. CALL:

One weekend (Friday evening-Monday morning) and 4 weekdays (Monday-Thursday) every 12 weeks. Graduate from an accredited program of Radiologic Technology. · Individual must accumulate 200 exams as outlined by the ARRT and become licensed in the modality by passing the Vascular-Interventional (VI) Radiography certification exam within 24 months of completing orientation. · WHY UVM MEDICAL CENTER (UVMMC)? SIGN ON BONUS & RELOCATION ELIGIBILITY: · External candidates who have not worked within the network in the past year are eligible for a hiring bonus based on experience - bonuses for full time new hires are between $6,000 and $15,000 and are paid out over a few installments.
