Sealants JourneymanThe Sealants Journeyman is responsible for the installation of sealants, caulking, waterproofing, coatings, and firestopping systems on buildings and ramps. This role requires travel throughout the assigned region to various construction job sites.Salary range $25-$30 an hour. Based on location and experience.Safety is our highest priority. The ideal candidate is quality-driven, able to work independently in the field, and comfortable traveling to various job sites. This individual demonstrates strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work safely at heights while delivering consistent, high-quality work.Ideal Candidate Will HaveStrong interpersonal communication skills to work effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and managersStrong understanding of jobsite safety requirements and commitment to maintaining a safe work environmentProfessional attitude and ability to represent the company appropriately on all job sitesQuality-minded with strong attention to detail in sealant and finishing workAbility to mix custom colors and apply caulking to precast panels (approx. 400 linear feet per day)Ability to work collaboratively with a team to complete projects efficientlyWillingness and ability to travel as required for job assignmentsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and complete tasks effectivelyKnowledge of proper tools and equipment used for sealant, caulking, and waterproofing applicationsValid driver's license with the ability to operate a motor vehicle; construction and precast experience preferredWorking Conditions/Physical RequirementsAbility to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and repetitive hand/arm useCapable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hoursComfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts frequentlyAbility to work safely in a production or field environment with moderate to high exposure to safety risks and hazardsWillingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold weather, and outdoors (Depending on location)Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required by the task, department, or work area.This profile summarizes key duties and expectations but does not list every possible job task.
